Leon Rippy previously worked with Roland Emmerich on "Universal Soldier" and "Moon 44." His additional film credits include "Kuffs," "Young Guns II," "The Hot Spot," "Loose Cannons," "Eye of the Storm," "Illegally Yours," "Marie," "The Color Purple," "Maximum Overdrive" and "Firestarter."
On television, he appeared in the telefilm "Jesse," and the top-rated mini-series "North and South" and "Chiefs."
In addition to his work on the screen, Rippy was a founder and past director of the North Carolina Stage Company in Charlotte. His many stage credits include "The Lion in Winter," "Sleuth," "Man of La Mancha," "A Streetcar Named Desire," "When You Comin' Back, Red Ryder?" and "A Christmas Carol."
